Can I use a tent or umbrellas on the beach?
Tents are allowed on the public beaches along 30a. Tents must be 10' x 10' or smaller and are to be set up only on the top 1/3 of the available beach space, still allowing for a 15' distance from the dunes for emergency vehicles. Our guests are welcome to bring their own beach chairs and umbrella to setup on any public beach, along 30a.
Which airport should I use?
VPS Destin-Ft. Walton Beach Airport. This airport is across the bay from Destin, and about forty-five minutes from the west end of 30a. If you want to view it on Google Maps, the address of this airport is 1701 FL-85, Eglin AFB, FL 32542
ECP Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. This airport is located just north of Panama City and would be the closest airport for properties located to the east of Seaside, on 30a. If you want to look it up on Google Maps, the address of this airport is 6300 W Bay Pkwy, Panama City, FL 32409
Can I walk my dog on the beach?
Dogs are not allowed on any of the Gulf beaches in Okaloosa (Destin) or Walton County (all of 30a). That said, dogs are welcome at Dog Beach, a Gulf front on-leash dog park, across from Pier Park in Panama City Beach.
Where can I drive the golf cart that comes with my rental, and who can drive it?
Golf carts may be driven on the local two-lane roads, by any licensed adult 21yrs or older, in your travel party.
