The cafe is also known for its Benedict menu. Everything from a classic Benedict to a crab cake and fried green tomato Benedict is on the list. Be sure to finish your decadent breakfast with a round of beignets as well.

This Grayton Beach institution is as much an experience as it is a meal, with live music, a kitschy interior, and an energy that you simply cannot replicate anywhere else on the corridor. There’s little wonder that people flock here to celebrate on holidays like the 4th of July.
The food is straightforward bar fare done well, and the drinks are cold. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the music, and plan to make a night of it.
You can also pick up your food to-go and head to the beach for a picnic if that is more your vibe. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on Red Bar while you’re here.

- Best for: Casual lunch or dinner, families, groups
- Reservations: Walk-ins and reservations welcome
Chanticleer Eatery is one of those local gems that consistently earns raves without a lot of fanfare. It’s further inland than other restaurants on the list, but what it lacks in coastal views it makes up for with its laid-back atmosphere and delicious food.
This is the perfect spot for comfort food on a rainy day or to fuel up during a busy sightseeing itinerary.
The Cobb salad is beautifully composed, the steaks are done right, and the seafood is fresh. It is casual, relaxed, and family-friendly without feeling like a tourist trap.
