Peacock Paradise sets right off 30A which is a scenic drive along the emerald coast that is speckled with unique artsy beach communities, each with their special flare and appeal. Seaside hosts weekly concerts and movies and has eclectic shops and great local restaurants. If you travel further east on 30A you will reach Alys Beach which also hosts weekly outdoor concerts and movies. Further east is Rosemary Beach, which again has unique shops and eateries. A 22 mile paved walking/jogging/biking trail extends the length of 30A and passes beautiful beaches, coastal dune lakes, and picturesque beach towns. Bike/kayak rentals, restaurants, and shopping are all within walking distance of the house. We are across the street from the sugar white sands and emerald waters that have been voted one of the top 10 beaches. Beach access (with parking, shower, and restrooms) is also across the street from our home.
Boutique shopping and dining can be found at Watercolor and Seaside, approximately 4 miles to the east. Four major shopping, dining and entertainment destinations are within 25 miles. Grand Boulevard's restaurants and shops are only eight miles west. Just two miles further is Silver Sands Factory Stores with over 100 designer names. Continue west for 5 more miles to Destin Commons, a premier lifestyle center anchored by Bass Pro Shops and 14-theater Rave Motion Pictures. An easy 25-mile drive to the east is Panama City's new Pier Park, a mega outdoor shopping mall consisting of over a million square feet of specialty shops, retailers, and restaurants - plus the 16-cinema Grand Theater.

My family of four stayed for a week this summer. The house was clean,well-equipped, and everything worked. The kids stayed in the two ground floor rooms, and loved it. The pool is a great asset, and the beach access is very close to the house. We had a great time, and I do recommend this house. Seagrove Beach is great, and we always go to the nearby communities of Seaside, and Rosemary Beach.
We spend week there with two families and it was perfect. Very easy access to beach. We biked to Seaside and Grayton Beach. Backyard with private pool perfect for kids. Only issue that we had was bedrooms had a lot of light so we woke up early everyday. It was not enough to make a 4 star. House was very clean with a lot of space. Owner was available for all questions. We had our last night supper at Whiskey Bistro which was great because walking distance from house.
Great house and so close to the beach and beach access. Beds were great and manager was awesome to deal with. Thanks for a great vacation!
This was the first time visiting your lovely home. We certainly hope to return soon. We love the location of your home just off 30A. We had 6 kids and 8 adults and we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The home is furnished with anything you could use, especially for a large group. We had all of our meals there so we cannot comment on restaurants in the area. We did however buy seafood from Goatfeather's and it was great. We loved the porch for reading and just hanging while the kids were in pool. They couldn't wait to jump in that pool and play. Although some days were overcast and one day of rain we all had the time of our lives and were able to get great photos and made many memories. We also celebrated 3 birthdays there. Thank you so much for your provisions and attentiveness to all our needs.
